Mbah assigns portfolios to 20 commissioners

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State, on Friday, assigned portfolios to his 20 commissioners and members of the State Executives Council (EXCO), following their inauguration on Thursday.

Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, announced the commissioners’ portfolios to newsmen shortly after their inaugural exco meeting on Friday.

According to the SSG, Professor Ndubueze Mbah is the new Commissioner for Education;

Mrs. Ngozi Eni, Gender Affairs and Social Development; Prince Lawrence Eze, Lands and Urban Development; Prof. Sam Ugwu,  Environment and Climate; Chika Ugwoke, Labour and Employment; Dr. Kingsley Ude, Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice; Prof. Emmanuel I. Obi, Health; Deacon Okey Ogbodo, Local Government, Rural Development and Chieftaincy Affairs; Ben Ugochi Madueke, Tourism and Culture, and Barr. Lord I. Ekweremadu, Youths and Sports.

Others are Engr. Gerrald Otiji, Works and Infrastructure; Nathaniel Urama, Finance and Economic Development; Dr. Malachy Agbo, Human Development and Poverty Eradication;

Mr. Aka Eze Aka, Information; Adaora Chukwu, Trade Investment and industry; Dr. Martin Chinweike, Housing; Obi Ozor, Transport; Ajogwu Sunday Emeka, Special Duties; Dr. Felix Nnamani, Water Resources and Patrick Nwabueze Uburu, Agriculture and Agro-industrialization.
