Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Brentford striker, Igor Thiago, who scored 25 goals in 40 appearances for the west London side last season.
Transfer expert, Ben Jacobs reports that the Brazilian has been discussed internally at Old Trafford, with club bosses seeking to sign him as competition for Benjamin Sesko.
The club are said to be also eager to sign a new striker as Joshua Zirkzee’s Serie A return appears inevitable.
Manager, Michael Carrick has been bolstering the midfield, signing Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, with further targets being pursued.

However, Jacobs said United are weighing up a swoop for 25-year-old Thiago, who finished as second top scorer in the EPL last season.
He said, “Igor Thiago has been discussed, somebody that’s Premier League ready.
“Nothing more than that at this stage, more of an internal conversation and a normal player call to understand his situation.
“Getting him out this summer will be incredibly difficult.”
