Man beheaded in Lagos community

The lifeless bodies of two men, one of which was headless, has been discovered in the Idimu area of Lagos State.

The men were reportedly killed on Saturday night but their bodies were discovered on Sunday morning on Oladun Street.

It was learnt that the discovery created panic among residents of the area, who converged to view the gory sight.

Residents identified one of the victims as Baba Oja while the identity of the beheaded victim remains unconfirmed as of press time.

A resident, Lanre Ajao said Baba Oja was known in the area to always mingle with some boys who ran after flashy cars to collect money from the drivers around the Council bus stop.

Residents indicated that the killings could have been cult-related.

It was further learnt that a police team visited the scene for the evacuation of the remains of the victims.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), CSP Benjamin Hundeyin could not be reached for comments.
