A 24-year-old man in Ebonyi, identified as Joshua Kosoro, has committed suicide.
The incident occurred in Umuoguduakpu Akpu in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Joshua Ukandu, confirmed the incident.
“It was on Sunday; one Joshua Kosoro from Umuogodo Akpu community, Ohaukwu LGA, who was based in Lagos, came to Ebonyi and told his relatives that he heard strange voices.

“And that voice talks to him and is always asking him to do strange things.
“The relatives went out to look for a solution to the issues; as everyone was away from the house, he stayed back. Before they could come back, they saw that he had hanged himself to death.
“The officers of the command visited the scene, and the body was taken to the hospital, where he was certified dead.
“Yes, the report was brought to our table by his relatives, and the command has commenced investigating the incident,” he said.
