Residents of Jericho Hill GRA and other adjoining communities in Ibadan have applauded Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, for the successful reconstruction of the FRIN–Aleshinloye Road, saying the project has transformed movement, improved infrastructure and enhanced the overall outlook of the area.
The commendation was conveyed in a letter signed by the Chairman of the Jericho Hill GRA Residents’ Association, Adewale Sanda, and addressed to the governor.
According to the association, the road serves as a vital link to several communities, including Jericho, Aleshinloye, Idi-Ishin, Forest Hill Estate and neighbouring areas.
The residents said the reconstruction has eased transportation challenges and significantly improved accessibility for motorists and pedestrians.

They described the project as a strategic intervention by the state government, which has positively impacted daily life and contributed to environmental beautification within the affected communities.
The residents also appreciated Quickborn Nigeria Limited, the firm responsible for executing the project They commended its professionalism and willingness to engage with community members throughout the construction period.
The association noted that despite the challenges of working on a major road that serves as the primary access route for several estates and neighbourhoods, the contractor ensured minimal disruption and remained responsive to residents’ concerns.
Reaffirming their confidence in Governor Makinde’s administration, the residents pledged continued support for government initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and promoting development across Oyo State.
