The Chief Executive Officer of EUC Homes Limited, Uche Ben Odunzeh, has appealed to state governments to make land available and affordable for estate developers, to enable them bridge the housing deficit, especially in Lagos State.

Odunzeh, in a statement, said the bottlenecks instituted by state governments should be lifted, adding that most Nigerians would be homeless or pay exorbitantly to acquire choice houses in the soonest.

The former governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), also encouraged the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), to unite the sector and abide by the creed of the association.

He, also, called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu whom he praised to be a pacesetter and inspiration in real estate sector to look into the matter before it becomes a disaster waiting to happen.

According to him, most developers are harassed daily by both local and foreign investors due to the impasse which is longer acceptable.

In conclusion, he reminded the government that developers, marketers are builders of the country and must be treated with respect and dignity.
