In a statement, AEDC also said that it had petitioned the relevant authorities over the activities of individuals, stressing that the substation and its land duly belonged to it, while calling on relevant authorities to investigate the matter.
Meanwhile, following the intervention of Wike, AEDC is working closely with the FCDA, security agencies and other relevant stakeholders to secure the substation and protect the critical electricity infrastructure as well as expedite the restoration of electricity supply.
