In a drive to empower creativity and inspire indigenes of Delta State in the garment value chain to showcase their talents, organisers of the Meet Africa Fashion Festival (MAFEST) 2025 Competition have asked interested participants to register.
Participation in the competition is exclusively for Deltan fashion designers within the age bracket 17-38, and aspire to become superstars to be celebrated across Africa.
In a statement, President of MAFEST, Charles Ozoemena, disclosed that the entry period which began running on February 1 would close on February 28, 2025.
He stated that the winner of the competition would go home with a cash prize of N4m, an industrial machine and also secure a place in the MAFEST Hall of Fame. Moreover, the winner would have the opportunity for an all-expenses paid trip to Dakar, Senegal, to exhibit her creative work alongside Africa’s best fashion designers.
