Nigerian songstress Tems has addressed the possibility of dating Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, saying shooting her shot is out of the question.
Speaking during an interview on the sidelines of the BET Awards, the Grammy Award-winning artist stated that she does not believe in “shooting her shot” at men.
Asked if she knew the Nigerian international and if she would consider making the first move, Tems said, “I wish I did.”
Responding to a question about shooting her shot, Tems was unequivocal about not entertaining the idea.

“We don’t shoot shots over here,” she replied.
Elaborating, Tems shared that she would rather opt for connections built on friendship and mutual respect over romantic interests.
“We friend each other, and we are family, sisters and brothers,” she noted.
Tems’ comments come on the heels of Maduka Okoye generating buzz online over his recent “thirst trap” pictures, with the female folk dominating the conversation.
