American rapper Cardi B and Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye captured global attention after appearing together at the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture Show during Paris Fashion Week.
The pair arrived at the event in Paris on Wednesday, with Okoye escorting Cardi B to her seat before the two sat side by side to watch the runway presentation. They were also seen together at the Messika showcase, drawing significant attention from photographers and fashion enthusiasts.
Videos and photos of their appearance quickly went viral across TikTok, X and other social media platforms, with fans praising their fashion choices and discussing their relaxed interaction. Cardi B’s striking red ensemble emerged as one of the standout looks of the event.
Their appearance also fuelled speculation about a possible relationship. However, neither Cardi B nor Okoye has commented on the rumours, and there is no verified evidence suggesting they are romantically involved.

Okoye, who plays for Italian Serie A club Udinese and Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has increasingly attracted attention beyond football for his fashion sense and public appearances.
Born in Düsseldorf, Germany, to a Nigerian father and a German-French mother, the 26-year-old made his senior debut for Nigeria in 2019. Standing 1.98 metres tall, he began his professional career in Germany before moving to Sparta Rotterdam, where he won the club’s Player of the Season award in the 2020/21 campaign.
