The second edition in the Macallan series, Harmony Collection Inspired by Intense Arabica, has been unveiled.
The event, which held at Ornate KOI Restaurant & Lounge, Victoria Island, Lagos on July 20, 2023, was an exclusive gathering of Nigerian elites including Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, Mai Atafo, Babajide Durojaiye, Eso Dike and Precious Okoye, Miss Africa 2022.
The select gathering was captivated by the pairing ritual, which explored the unique harmonies and sensory delights offered by the combination of whisky and coffee.
Speaking at the launch, Brand Manager, Edrington Portfolio Nigeria, Hammed Adebiyi, said: “We are honoured to present this extraordinary collection to our esteemed guests. The Macallan continues to uphold its legacy of excellence, and we are excited to offer this unparalleled whisky and coffee pairing experience to whisky enthusiasts in Nigeria.”

Guiding guests through the coffee-whisky journey, Macallan’s brand ambassador, Abuja, Adeyinka Adepetun and Macallan’s brand specialist, Rasak Makanjuola, with the support of Happy Coffee International, provided intricate artistry and details about the art of coffee blending. They immersed guests in the delicate art of appreciating the full flavours and aromas of coffee, similar to how a dram of The Macallan single malt is being enjoyed.
