Uruguay ex-international, Luis Suarez has named England and Bayern Munich ace, Harry Kane as his favourite active striker in world football, while also paying tributes to Erling Haaland.
Suarez, who retired from international football in September 2024, praised Kane’s tactical intelligence and excellent reading of the game.
He also expressed admiration for Norwegian striker, Haaland, who is currently joint second highest goalscorer at the ongoing World Cup.
However, he named Kane as his top choice when asked to pick his favourite striker in the game.

The 39-year-old Inter Miami striker said, “Who are my favourite strikers at the moment? Haaland is lethal inside the box, even though the team has to play for him.
“I prefer Harry Kane. He links up much better with the rest of the team. He moves thinking about his teammates’ counter-movements and understands the game differently.
“I love those kinds of details.”
