It was a lucky escape for Emeka Okeke, as his car rammed into an electric pole at Happy home junction, Kirikiri area of  Lagos.

The pole fell on top of the Toyota Corrola with registration number LSR808BZ, but the driver escaped the accident.

A witness Ibrahim Muktar,  told our correspondent that he was going to the mosque when he saw a car dash into a gutter and then hit a pole around 3.15pm.

Although no life was lost, Emeka was in a confused state as he tried effortlessly to speak with our correspondent.

” I don’t know how this happened,” he said

“I was just driving when i noticed my front tire burst.

“I wasn’t even on full speed, I just swerved my vehicle so as to park it and before I knew it, my car had hit a NEPA pole.”

” I called my brother to help me because I am confused at the moment,” he said

Daily Sun spoke to Emeka’s brother who didn’t want his name published. He told our correspondent that he had alerted the Electricity Distribution Company of the incident and thanked God that no lives were lost.
