The National Working Committee (NWC), of the Labour Party, has put on hold indefinitely the inauguration of Dr Sam Amadi-led electoral reform committee.

A press release from the National Publicity Secretary Obiora Ifo Wednesday countered the inauguration plan while laying blame on unforeseen circumstances
He said a new date would be communicated.The statement reads, “This is to inform members of the public that the inauguration of the Electoral Reform Committee earlier scheduled to hold on Thursday, July 4, 2024, has been postponed till further notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
A new date will be announced soon. The composition of the membership is still as announced earlier.
