General Overseer of Love Base Assembly, FESTAC Town, Lagos, Mike Iwunze, has advised Nigerians, especially the youths, to go into farming in order to earn a living.

Speaking in Lagos during a media chat heralding the church’s anniversary, the Fullness of Praise (Judah) programme, and his 65th birthday celebration, he admonished the youths to develop themselves, get skills and, if there are no jobs, they should create one.

“Go into agricultural production. There are actually businesses that can put food on their table, instead of sitting idle.

“I tell my church members, especially youths, to go to work. As their pastor, I work. I started doing business as a child and became an importer. Whatever your hands find to do that is good shall prosper. I encourage them to be diligent. They must find something to do. The time to work is not for prayers,” he said.

The programme with the theme: “God of Rest” would run through Thursday, July 4 and Sunday, July 7.

Iwunze said the anniversary celebration has attracted guest speakers like Anu Ojo and David Oluwapemi. He urged Nigerians to forgive one another, pray and accept the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.
