The Sun Nigeria

Lord’s Chosen marks 23rd anniversary

Lazarus-Muoka

By Vera Wisdom-Bassey

Pastor Lazarus Muoka of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry, Ijesha, has expressed  gratitude to God for His sustaining grace, power and presence over the years.

He called on the congregation both at home and in the Diaspora to join him in appreciating God for his sustaining power, presence over the years, as the church clocks 23 years.

The Cleric implored the congregation, Nigerians, Africans and the entire world to return to God in order to find peace, for there can be no peace without God.

At the same time, he called on the congregations to use the occasion to pray for Nigeria, so that children and generations unborn would find it a place to thrive.

He called for national repentance knowing that “God takes no pleasure in the crises of any nation. He waits with great long-suffering for their repentance, so that, He may pardon them and receive them unto Himself”

He urged them to use this time to reflect on the reason Christ came into this world.

According to him, the church was built by God. “The church is a ministry planted by God, sustained by His presence and propelled by His power.”
