December 18 was a special day for members of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry as they commemorated the 20th anniversary of the church.

The celebration attracted many members of the church from far and near to the worship ground of the church.

It was indeed a day filled with praises unto God, testimonies of great wonders of God as the congregation danced offering different gifts unto God.  Some brought fans, chairs, cash, and various items that could be used in the expansion of the gospel in the church among others.

Individuals and members of various departments of the church were on hand to offer their gifts to God for seeing them through this 20 years in ministry.

The celebration started with the general overseer, Pastor Lazasus Muoka and members of his family, and others followed, including the paramilitary arm of the church.

Similarly, the church held  a December retreat tagged, ‘only God can do this’ and it attracted people from across the world.

Delivering his message, Muoka remarked that dependence on world economic permutation cannot bring self-actualisation, saying it is only trust and faith in the Lord that can guarantee stability in life. He said: “The uncertainty around the world’s economy is capable of frustrating someone and can lead to despair, depression and self-destruction.

“Live a life of holiness and be steadfast in the faith, and allow God to take over the provision of your needs.

“God is still in the business of intervening in man’s situations. Do His will and put Him to challenge and see if He will not surprise you with more than that you asked for.”

The preacher decried the sinful conduct of supposed Christians and the craving for materialism.

He warned that hell is real and heaven is real, charging people to choose the good path, to move God to bless them.
