Liverpool on Saturday confirmed striker, Darwin Nunez’s transfer to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.
The Uruguayan joined Liverpool three years ago from Benfica in a €75 million deal but failed to justify the hefty transfer fee.
After managing a paltry 40 goals in 143 appearances, the 26-year-old fell down the pecking order under Jurgen Klopp and Arne Slot.

British media reports indicate Al-Hilal parted with an initial €53 million to prise Nunez from Anfield.
In a statement, the Saudi club disclosed the striker was signed on a three-year contract.
With the club keen to land Newcastle star forward, Alexander Isak, Nunez’s departure is expected to pave way for Liverpool’s renewed push for his signature, having seen a first bid of £110 million rejected.
