LG boss hails Lagos monarch, Lions Club over distribution of stationery, others

The Chairman,  Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State, Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina, has commended the Alagura of Agura land, Oba Ahmed Olakunle Ogunderu and Eko Centennial Lions Club for their kind gesture to indigents

The commendation followed the distribution of exercise books and other writing materials to all the schools within Agura Kingdom by the monarch as well as a medical outreach programme sponsored by Eko Centennial Lions Club to commemorate the first year anniversary of Oba  Ogunderu on the throne.

 Adesina and other dignitaries present at the presentation of the stationery to all school in Agura, Ikorodu, showered encomium on the monarch and the lions club for contributing their quota to  development of the society.

“I want to thank our Kabiesi for what he has done for pupils in  our primary and secondary schools, it shows that the king has interest of our school children at heart, doing this to celebrate his first year coronation anniversary mean a lot  to us and the entire Kingdom. I join others to facilitate with our king and i also want to enjoin others to emulate the king’s kind gesture”, Adesina said.

Oba Ogunderu, in his address, disclosed that over 1000 students would benefit from free note books and others writing materials.

The president of Eko Centennial Lions Club, Mukaila Ayinla Obadimeji, said the medical outreach programme was in line with Lions Clubs International’s mandate.
