Newly promoted Leicester City is looking to extend the contract of Super Eagles stand-in captain, Wilfred Ndidi according to Spanish Football journalist Santi Aouna.
It comes amid reported interest from Everton, Lyon and Marseille for the midfielder. The 27-year-old does not have a shortage of suitors having played 32 games last season as the Foxes sealed their return to the Premier League. He also managed five assists alongside scoring four himself.
Ndidi’s contract expires this summer and also attracted interest from Nottingham Forest.
The transfer window is now open for business and all eyes are on Steve Cooper and the club’s recruitment team in what is set to be a fascinating summer at the King Power Stadium.
