Renowned speaker and author, Chris Omoijiade, popularly known as ‘the CEO’ has said that his passion to write is driven by his desire to express his thoughts, opinions and philosophies.

This is a passion he has only increased in recent years, leading to his present position as a published author with works accepted across different continents. Omoijiade recounted his experiences putting his first book together, revealing that he was motivated by a public demand for his written publications. He had gleaned a lot of information from multiple source principles, and desired to write on a subject matter with a general application.

Subsequently, his first official publication ‘Get Ahead: Practical Steps to Face Realities and Embrace Success,’ was born. “During many of my engagements, I had individuals clamor for a body of work they could relate with in my absence and refer to,” he said. “I was learning about the gems that made people successful, and over the course of two years, I pieced it all together, like a master builder and the result is the book ‘Get Ahead- Practical Steps to face life’s realities and achieve success’. “It speaks to success across diverse walks of life and time differences, and I am proud that it has been a huge blessing to all who have invested in what is now known in many circles as ‘The Bible of Success’,“

He stated that creating the frameworks for his pieces required a critical process of conceptualization, which often includes sourcing for relevant information, and finding the appropriate sources. “I approach writing first like an archeologist by having to first evacuate relevant information from diverse sources which are relevant to the subject matter I intend to write about. The next step is to design a skeletal model of what I want the book to look like, which is a breakdown to the basic structure.

The next step is to flesh up the skeleton to make it a body. I am blessed with an amazing team of editors who do justice to my manuscripts to produce life changing masterpieces,” Omoijiade stated. Omoijiade expressed delight at his upcoming round of projects, adding that they would drive massive transformations in the thought process of readers when they invest in the books: “I have the privilege of launching five new books to the public that transcend three core areas: Leadership, Finance and Relationships, subjects that touch the life of any and every man.

Three of my new books are applicable to leadership, which are ‘So you want to Lead’ which is a leadership manual for new and intending leaders and also established leaders, highlighting principles leaders employ to be successful. “The second and third is ‘Leadership Gems in the Bible Old Testament and Leadership Gems in the New Testament’, a two-part volume book that showcases what it means to be godly leaders, based on what we can mine from the holy Bible which in my opinion represents the ground-norm on all things leadership,” he added. The fourth publication is the Irrefutable Role of Gatekeepers- An expose on how to win over men who guard over systems and structures and finally “You too can be debt free” a book that seeks to liberate millions from the shackles of debt and bad financial decisions.

He urged aspiring authors to take the daring step and kickstart their writing careers, and always remain open to receiving corrections and feedbacks from their mentors: “Start where you are. There won’t be a perfect time and place to begin. The more you write, the more you improve. Surround yourself with a good support structure that will ensure your writing experience is pleasurable. Be open for feedback from experienced authors who can help to chisel your work and improve on your delivery methods.”
