Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma will deliver a keynote address at the Lagos Country Club on Friday, November 13 during the maiden edition of its policy dialogue.
A statement by the Club’s Secretary General, Mrs Damilola Ikpe, said the dialogue was designed to serve as a platform for strategic engagements between business leaders, policy experts and public office holders.
Themed, ‘The Future is Local: Stimulating Grassroots Economies for Inclusive Growth,’ the maiden session, according to Mrs Ikpe, would focus on economic decentralisation and community-driven development.
Uzodimma, who will also be the special guest, is expected to share insights on sub-national economic development, enterprise creation and strategies for expanding local economic capacity to drive sustainable national growth.
Speaking ahead of the event, the President of the Club, Mr. Seyi Adewunmi, said the dialogue aims to foster actionable public-private sector conversations that directly address Nigeria’s pressing socio-economic opportunities.
The event is expected to attract policymakers, captains of industry, business executives, professionals, academics and other stakeholders interested in Nigeria’s economic development.
