Lagos U-15 Deaf School Games Ends

The 4th edition of Lagos State U-15 Deaf Games will end today (Friday).

The school sports tournament, which began since Tuesday will climax today at the Agege Stadium, the ‘Soccer Temple’.

Already, winners have emerged in some sporting events such as the table tennis singles and doubles.

Athletics, which commenced on Thursday, will have some of its finals taking place today in the presence of dignitaries who are coming to grace the final ceremony.

The Games is sponsored by the Lagos State Government as part of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s all inclusive policy.

No fewer than 500 students from 35 schools across the six education districts in Lagos State are taken part in the competition.

During the final ceremony, there will be presentations of medals, certificates of participation and educational gifts items will be given to participants.

The four-day championship featured Badminton, Table Tennis and Athletics
