The Director General of Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC), Adekumiola Adio-Moses has revealed that state had made all necessary plan to turn PSSDC to a world learning centre regardless of the distance and difference in culture.
The resilient economists, Adio-Moses, recently made this known at a press parley, narrating how far the establishment has come since 30 years.
According to him, the establishment has been destined to be a global university. “The vision for PSSDC is to be a world class centre for learning and development. It is important for us to get the global respect and therefore the quality of staff in need to push the vision.”

The establishment grew from not having a single network then, now to having a whole digital studio, computer base test, e-learning classrooms etc. “When I was made the DG, I remember about having a discussion with the governor over my expectation, we agreed on pushing the already written governing body goals which means to turn here to citadel of learning and make the place more enduring for researchers. As at that time, the premises had no network. We hard to start from the scratch by providing network through underground fiber which was a lot of work. It was from there that we came up with CBT classrooms.
“The goal is to help the government to achieve its goal which includes that the staff of this state should have global standard. The idea of PSSDC is to turn Public Service University. That the whole world can be proud of. It is a place where there are no limit to development.
“Our role in Lagos civil service has been fundamental. Our duty is to train staffs from level 12 downward. The foundation of our staff is very paramount. So that, when they get to management level the person must have been grounded in values, ethics and skill set for a Lagos public servant,” he stated.
