Lagos State is set to receive significant food relief as part of Give The Nations’ ongoing Missions Week, which launched globally on Monday. The initiative, in collaboration with the Day of Salvation programme on Friday, aims to distribute over 25,000 food items to underserved communities across Lagos.

Precious Jefferson, Director of Give The Nations’ Project, expressed the organization’s commitment: “The Missions Week kick-started on Monday across other nations around the world. But we are partnering with the Day of Salvation for Thursday and Friday to accomplish our mission of reaching over 25,000 people with food relief distribution in Lagos. We will be distributing items like rice, garri, groundnut oil, and even chickens across these communities.”

Emphasizing the initiative’s broader goals, Jefferson added, “The Missions Week is one of Give The Nations’ key projects. Our aim is to set aside an entire week to distribute food items across the nations. Distributions have already started in Kenya and Pakistan, and Lagos will benefit next through the Day of Salvation programme on September 20. Our vision is to reach various nations and partner not only with local governments but with global bodies to offer much-needed support.”
