As part of efforts in putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged, the newly-inaugurated executive committee of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Lagos State chapter has concluded plans for her members to embark on a one-day charity tour scheduled for Friday December 22, 2017.
The visit is aimed at appreciating God for a successful 2017 as well as putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the spirit of the Christmas/Festive Season.
According to the release signed by the Secretary, Emmanuel Tobi, members are enjoined to donate materials towards this noble course and thank God for our individual lives.
The two homes to be visited are ; Hospice Special Children in Onile Gogoro before Masha, Surulere 10am to 11am and Heritage home, Anthony Village, 11.30 am-12.30pm
There will be buses to convey members from the Lagos SWAN Secretariat, National Stadium to both venues and back to the Stadium.
Items needed from members include used cloths and household item that are still presentable and in good working condition.
