Lagos State Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has presented a N2.2 trillion budget estimate to the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Speaking during the presentation, the governor said the expected revenue is N1.847 trillion, recurrent expenditure will take N1.02, while N1.224 trillion goes for the capital expenditure.
Christened Budget of Renewal, the governor assured Lagosians that better days were ahead, even as he enjoined the lawmakers to cooperate with the executive to ensure full implementation of the budget for the growth and development of the state and its citizens.
