The chairman of Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Lagos State, Alhaji Mustapha Moshood Adekunle, has hailed the recent Supreme Court judgement which granted local government autonomy from the state.
Speaking to the media recently, Alhaji Mustapha equally commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for agreeing with the judgement, adding that it is a new dawn for democracy and good governance in the country.
Furthermore, Alhaji Mustapha said the autonomy granted local government would enable it to meet most of its statutory obligations of delivering democracy dividends to Nigerians at the grassroots.
On what his party is doing ahead of the LG Poll, Alhaji Mustapha said PRP is poised yo fully participate in the election.
