Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Lagos State, Hon Muka Popoola, has applauded the recent judgment of the Supreme Court, saying the judiciary has once again proven that it is the last bastion of hope for the people.
Popoola made this known yesterday in a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Lagos State,Dr. Adebiyi Philips.
The Lagos State PDP chairman restated his hope in the judiciary even as he urged all aggrieved members of the party to unite as one big family as the 2027 general elections approach.
“The Supreme Court judgment is an historic trajectory in the life of our party.It is a demonstration of hope and fulfillment of long- awaited victory for all members.
“I want to appeal to all aggrieved members of our party to join hands with the national leadership of the party, and let us stand firm as one big family member to fight for our rightful place in national politics.
“Let me restate my belief in the party leadership, bearing in mind that PDP will always provide a better alternative for Nigeria and Nigerians.
“Therefore, as we approach the election circle, PDP members that are interested in contesting for any elective position should obtain the expression of interest form and exercise their civic and political rights.
“ As stakeholders in the party, PDP is determined to restore the hope of Nigeria and Nigerians,” he stated
