Lagos NIPR finalises plans for 2025 LaPRIGA awards

The Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has announced that full preparations are complete for the 2025 Lagos PR Industry Gala and Awards (LaPRIGA), which will take place on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the MUSON Centre in Onikan, Lagos. The event is being organised to recognise excellence in public relations and celebrate individuals and organisations shaping the communication landscape across Nigeria.

This year’s edition, themed *“Nox Excellentia – Night of Excellence,”* will bring together PR professionals, agency heads, corporate executives, media practitioners and public officials for an evening designed to reward outstanding contributions to strategic communication and reputation management. The chapter says the theme reflects the growing demand for professionalism, creativity and trust-building within the industry.

Speaking on the preparations, the Chairman of Lagos NIPR, Dr. Samuel Ayetutu, confirmed that logistics, planning and event arrangements have been fully concluded to ensure a seamless experience for guests. He noted that the awards will spotlight individuals, brands and agencies whose work has strengthened public relations practice and supported national development. According to him, the organisers are committed to delivering a world-class ceremony.

LaPRIGA is widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s leading PR award platforms, and the 2025 edition will feature a refreshed award structure that mirrors emerging industry trends, digital innovation and social impact. The event will include presentations of competitive and honorary awards across multiple categories, giving visibility to both established practitioners and rising talents in the field.

Guests are expected to enjoy a red-carpet reception, live performances, networking sessions and other signature moments associated with the annual gala. The organisers say the event will not only celebrate excellence but also inspire practitioners to continue promoting ethical communication, responsible storytelling and industry growth.
