The Oba of Isheri-Olofin Kingdom, Oba Ibrahim Olasunkanmi Olanwa, and the Oba of Iba Kingdom, Oba Sulaimon Adeshina Raji, are set to renew their friendly rivalry in a highly anticipated table tennis clash scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026.
The match, billed as the return leg of their royal sporting contest, will take place at the Isheri-Olofin Roundabout in Isheri, Lagos. It follows last weekend’s first-leg encounter in Iba Kingdom, where the Oba of Iba secured a narrow 3-2 victory.
Determined to overturn the earlier result, Oba Olanwa has expressed confidence ahead of the rematch. In a post on his social media page, the Isheri-Olofin monarch said preparations had been concluded to ensure victory and avenge last weekend’s defeat.
He wrote: “Come and witness another historic display of skill, sportsmanship, unity, and royal excellence as two great kingdoms renew their friendly rivalry.

“I believe this historic royal encounter between us will further strengthen the longstanding relationship between our kingdoms.
