All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has faulted the decision of Bode George’s group in the Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to contest the July 22, local government polls on the platform of Labour Party.

Reacting to the development, Deputy National Chairman (South) of APGA, Chief Uchenna Okogbuo, said his party is the only credible alternative to the All Progressives Congress (APC0 and the PDP.

According to him, it is time Nigerians give APGA a chance, having tried PDP and APC and have their fingers burnt.

He said while PDP and APC are elitist in their mission and vision, APGA is the only party in the country that has the interest of the masses at heart.

The decision by George’s group in Lagos PDP to contest the forthcoming council poll on the platform of Labour Party, he said, was ill-thought because at the moment, a lot of Labour Party members in the state are moving into APGA

Specifically, he said, recently large number of  Labour Party members in Alimosho defected to APGA.

The APGA deputy national chairman said George and his group should have done a bit of fact-finding to know where the train was moving before making the decision.
