The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service has blamed negligence for an inferno that ravaged Berger Trailer Park, Berger Suya, Olodi-Apapa, Ajegunle area of the state on Thursday night.
Controller General of the service, Margaret Adeseye stated this in a situation report sent to Daily Sun.

She disclosed that the service received a call at 10:15 pm of a fire involving trailers, containerised stalls and disused tyres at the scene.
She said firefighters arrived at the scene in 15 minutes.
According to the report, agencies at the scene included the Ajegunle, Sari Iganmu and Alausa headquarters fire stations, as well as Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), LISA and Nigeria Police.
She disclosed that no casualty was recorded in the incident.
