Lagos, Delta top CBT centres delisted by JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has sanctioned 24 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres from participating in the ongoing 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The management of JAMB said the 24 CBT centres were delisted due to technical deficiency during the conduct of the 2026 mock UTME.

In a similar development, JAMB has warned 89 CBT centres nationwide for minor technical challenges after the conduct of the 2026 mock examination.

A breakdown of the delisted centres showed that Lagos has the highest with six CBT centres, followed by Delta while Anambra, Edo, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ogun, Osun and Oyo recorded two each. Abia and Bayelysa had one each.

Among the centres are Oduduwa University CBT centre, Ile-Ife, College of Education, Moro Ife, Bishop Crowther Seminary centre, Anambra, Brightfield School, Uvwie, Delta, Moses and Grace College of Health Science and Technology, Edo, Great Kezino College centre, Lagos and Rabjib Computer Academy, Jos.

The centres warned by JAMB, again, Lagos topped the chart with 14, Oyo eight, Rivers 7, Ogun 7, FCT 6, Ondo 6, Kaduna and Kwara 4 each, Adamawa, Anambra, Kogi, Osun had 3, Benue, Delta, Nasarawa, Niger and Plateau recorded 2 each while Abia, Cross River, Edo, Enugu, Imo and Taraba came up with one CBT centre.

Centres warned include JKK Oneware Limited, Ikorodu Road, Miva Open University centre, Yaba, Binta International School, Abia State College of Health Science, Aba, Christ Ambassadors International College, Juji Road, Emirate College of Health Science, Tudun, Ilorin West Local Government centre Agbo-Oba, Dorcas Memorial College, Ajegunle, Command Science Secondary School, Lafia,  Niger State College of Education, Minna, Federal College of Education, Osele, Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, Jextban College centre, Ibafo, Golden Path School, Ifo, Public Service Training Institute, Ilara-Mokin, 2 centres of ICON Online Professional Tutors in Oyo, Plateau State Polytechnic, Barakin Ladi, University of Jos Consultancy, The Nobel Montessori centre, Rumoulumeni and JAMB Professional center, Jalingo.

Meanwhile, JAMB has so far released the results of 1,897,693 candidates out of 2,243,761 that registered for the 2026 UTME.

JAMB had earlier released the results of 1,264,940 for candidates who sat for the exam on Friday, 17th and Saturday, 18th April, 2026.

For those who wrote the UTME on Thursday, April 16th, JAMB released 632,752 results.
