The Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi has disclosed that the ongoing construction of the Lagos Calabar Coastal Highway shows President Tinubu is a divine president.

The minister made this known at Awi, Cross River State while flagging off the Cross River section of the Lagos Calabar Coastal Highway.

“President Tinubu had this dream 27 years ago. God gave him that wisdom to dream and also the opportunity to realize the dream.

“This is quite rare and it shows President Tinubu is a divine president”, he said.

He also disclosed that the contractors Hitech have not been given one kobo mobilization despite what they have achieved saying it underscores their commitment and partnership.

He tasked the community to cooperate with the contractors as they move with lightning speed and have no time to waste.

“The speed of this project will depend on the people.

” I want to appeal that you give the contractor a lot of cooperation because they move like lightening.

“They have no time to waste and if you cooperate, you will see magic”, he said.

He emphasized that the present administration looks forward to such partnership with its contractors and will not hesitate to terminate contracts of non performing contractors.
