The Council 57 Lagos State Supervisors Forum, comprising coordinators from the 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas across Lagos State, has declared support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and endorsed Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Kadiri Hamzat as its preferred governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was made during the forum’s meeting held on Tuesday, with members from across the state turning out despite heavy rainfall to reaffirm their commitment to the APC and its leadership. The forum also endorsed Hon. Damilola Sonayon James as its preferred deputy governorship candidate for Lagos State.

In a communiqué issued after the meeting, members pledged to intensify grassroots mobilisation across the state’s 57 local government and council development areas to ensure electoral victory for the APC. The meeting also approved a zoning arrangement for the forum’s executive committee, distributing offices across the three senatorial districts of Lagos Central, Lagos East and Lagos West.
Speaking after the meeting, the forum’s coordinator, Hon. Olabanjo Adeleke, described the gathering as a major step towards consolidating unity among supervisors across the state, and urged members to remain committed to the APC’s ideals and work collectively to deliver victory in 2027.
