President General of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club worldwide, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo has has hailed the generosity of the Chairman of BAU Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu who has made huge monetary rewards for the Super Eagles while calling on the billionaire not to leave out members of the Supporters Club cheering the team from the largess he has promised the team in Morocco.

Dr. Ladipo in a chat with our reporter from his base in Morocco noted that the Supporters Club members remain the x-factor of the Super Eagles.

“Members of the Supporters Club have been in Morocco at their own expense and ensuring that the Super Eagles are given the right vibes to push them to victory in all their games.

“It will be great for the Chairman of the BAU Group in factor the Supporters Club into his plans for the Super Eagles as a way of also encouraging the men and women who left their jobs and are giving their time to cheer the Eagles all through the tournament. This is a plea from me to him as this will go a long way in motivating the Supporters Club. We’re here in our numbers and I must say that it has not been easy,” he concluded.

It will be recalled that after the Super Eagles quarter-final 2-0 win over Algeria, Nigerian billionaire Abdul Samad Rabiu promised the team half a million US dollars should they beat hosts Morocco to qualify for the final of the tournament.

The business magnate also pledged to reward the squad $50,000 for every goal scored in the semifinal against Morocco.

Mr Rabiu will pay the team a million dollars if they win a fourth AFCON crown, while a goal in the final will earn the boys additional $100,000.

Nigeria will face hosts Morocco in the AFCON semi-final on Wednesday.
