Labour Party lauds Abians for support to Otti

Labour Party in Abia has lauded people of the state for the support to and cooperation with the administration of Governor Alex Otti.

This is even as the party in the state has promised it’s members and supporters a brighter future.

A statement by Jerry Njoku, state publicity secretary of the party said the Party’s state Chairman, Chief Ceekay Igara, on behalf of the leader of the party in the state, Gov Alex Otti lauded Abians for their support and cooperation in the past seven months.

LP described 2023 as a great year when the Almighty God led the party to victory and delivered Abia from “decades of hostages and oppression from the grips of agents of Satan masquerading as political leaders, into the light of political reality of our times and established for us a government that is for the people and by the people irrespective of class and size”.

While commending Abians for their steadfast and faith in the Otti administration, LP was of praises to it’s stakeholders for their commitment and sound counsel whenever their support and services were required.

The statement said 2024 was a year of great expectations and of new beginning in the rebuilding of the state which he said the LP-led administration had started in earnest.

“It has not been easy for many of us including our great supporters and members who definitely are expecting so much from the party.

“No doubts, your expectations are justified, and like our leader had often admonished, nobody will be left behind in this great journey of a new beginning.

“As we embark upon this great journey of a New Abia, we are not ignorant of the antics of the enemies, disguised as members of the opposition, because they have not presented themselves as responsible members of the opposition, rather they band themselves together for a continuous onslaught in falsehood and deception.

“Those who have spent over two decades destroying this state, they lack shame and has no morals nor conscience to feel remorse for the grave crimes they have committed against the good people of this state”, the statement added.

The statement said while the LP and the present Abia Government will not lose sleep over the antics of the opposition in the state, the Otti administration will continue to work hard to shame her critics.
