His deputy, Mallam Babamale Kadir Abdulrahman, is a native of Alanamu Ward in Ilorin West Local Government Area. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Ilorin and a Master’s degree from the same institution. Babamale has held several leadership positions within the PDP, including Assistant Youth Leader and Assistant Secretary at the ward level. He was later elected as the Ilorin West Local Government Youth Leader before his elevation to the state level as Deputy Director.
Announcing the appointments, the Kwara PDP Chairman, Isa Bawa Adamu, expressed confidence in the competence and commitment of the newly appointed officers to drive the Directorate of Youth Mobilisation towards revitalising the party’s structures across the state.
“We are excited to have these young, vibrant, and dedicated party men leading this crucial directorate,” Bawa said. “Their energy and passion for the PDP will be invaluable as we work collectively to reconnect with our grassroots, strengthen our structures, and reposition our party to reclaim Kwara State in 2027.”
He further charged the appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them by working harmoniously with other directorates and organs of the party in pursuit of its collective vision and objectives.
