Following the strategic meeting of the Kwankwasiyya Diaspora group held in Glasgow, Scotland, the group has restated its support and loyalty to the National Leader, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State.

The group also endorsed the statement credited to the national leader on the spate of insecurity in Nigeria.

In a statement signed by the chairman of Kwankwasiyya in Scotland, Dr. Moses Ashwa, the group urged the Federal Government to urgently address the security deficit in the country and ensure peace and stability.

The group also congratulated the governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf and the Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II, in their efforts to ensure unity in the state.

The Kwankwasiyya Diaspora group maintained that their collective leadership is vital in ensuring lasting peace, unity, prosperity, security and stability in Kano State.

“We express our gratitude to the citizens of Kano State. We urge them to continue to support the trio of Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II.

“We also applaud our amiable governor on the prestigious Nigeria Excellence Award in Public Service (NEAPS) for visionary leadership and public service reform. This award was a testament to his dedication and transformative governance,” Ashwa stated.
