The Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, Alhaji Umaru Kwairanga, has commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for what he described as a solid economic foundation capable of sustaining policy continuity beyond the current administration.
Kwairanga stated this while speaking during a solidarity visit to the Gombe State APC Secretariat, where he met with party executives and stakeholders to reaffirm his loyalty and long-standing commitment to the ruling party.
He explained that the visit aligned with Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s directive on the ongoing APC membership revalidation exercise, stressing that compliance by bona fide members was critical to party cohesion and institutional discipline.
He stated that the governor’s economic policies over the past six years had repositioned the state as a viable destination for private sector investment, arguing that consolidating these gains under an APC-led successor was both logical and strategic.
According to him, the administration’s performance has validated the party’s mandate, noting that Governor Inuwa Yahaya had delivered measurable outcomes in infrastructure, investment climate reforms, and fiscal prudence.
Kwairanga, a former 2019 APC gubernatorial aspirant, recalled his role in the emergence of the party in Gombe State, emphasizing that his loyalty to the governor remained unwavering despite the shifting political alliances among his contemporaries.

Drawing from his experience in public and private sector investment, he expressed confidence in his capacity to contribute meaningfully to the state’s economic advancement, should the opportunity arise.
He specifically praised the establishment of the Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park, describing it as a transformative initiative with the potential to drive job creation and boost internally generated revenue, likening its prospective impact to that of Ashaka Cement on the state’s economy.
Kwairanga assured party leaders of his continued commitment to promoting APC ideals in any capacity.
The visit concluded with his revalidation of APC membership at his Dawaki ward in Gombe Local Government Area, accompanied by hundreds of supporters.
In his response, the APC State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Moses Kyari, described the visit as a homecoming, citing Kwairanga’s years of dedication, loyalty, and support to the party.
