Konga unveils Berekete Sales with discounts across major product categories

Nigeria’s e-commerce platform, Konga, has announced the launch of its Berekete Sales, a promotional campaign offering discounts of up to 50 per cent on selected products across multiple retail categories.

The company said the campaign covers categories such as home and kitchen appliances, computing devices, electronics, beauty products and personal care items.

According to Konga, the sales promotion coincides with the ongoing Ramadan fasting period for Muslims, the Christian Lenten season and the upcoming Eid al-Fitr celebration, periods that often see increased household spending.

The Group Head of Marketing at Konga, Victor Olaleye, said the campaign was designed to provide customers with access to products at reduced prices during the period.

“Berekete Sales is about delivering savings to our customers,” Olaleye said. “We recognise that this period is significant for many households observing Ramadan and Lent, and we want to ensure they can access products at competitive prices.”

Among the offers announced by the company is a price reduction on the Starlink Gen 3 Kit, which Konga said is now available for ₦550,000 from its previous price of ₦590,000. The platform also noted that it distributes products from Starlink in Nigeria, with activation services available in selected cities.

In the wearable technology segment, the company introduced a promotional offer on the Huawei Watch 3, allowing customers to purchase two units for ₦200,000 within the campaign period.
The sales promotion also includes discounted computing devices from brands such as ASUS, targeted at students, professionals and businesses.

In addition, Konga disclosed that customers who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra through its platform will receive promotional items valued at more than ₦500,000 from Samsung.

E-commerce platforms in Nigeria have increasingly relied on periodic sales campaigns and seasonal promotions to attract customers and stimulate online shopping activity amid evolving consumer spending patterns.

Konga said the Berekete Sales campaign will run for a limited period and can be accessed through its online platform as well as its retail stores across the country.
