Konga, an e-commerce group, has expanded its digital footprint with the launch of an AI-powered radio station in Lagos.
According to the company, the radio station, Konga FM 103.7 is set to revolutionise content delivery, leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance global audience engagement, streamline broadcasting and redefine the future of radio in Nigeria.
Currently in its test phase, Konga FM is encouraging listener feedback. For the first two weeks, the station is offering free advertising to businesses of all sizes on a first-come, first-served basis. This initiative aims to stimulate economic activity by providing businesses with a free platform to promote their products and services.
“Konga FM is here to serve Nigerians, and we are open to feedback as we continue our test run until February 21st and shall start defining standard from the 22nd of February,” said Ifeoma Ajumobi, Head of KongaTV and Konga FM.

Beyond music, Konga FM offers daily deals from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM, with same-day delivery available. Listeners can place orders via WhatsApp while deals are promoted on air, thanks to a partnership with Konga Online. The station highlights its ability to connect buyers and sellers, especially given recent data price increases.
Konga FM also features spiritual inspirational music and short messages from religious leaders from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM. The station aims to be a source of knowledge for entrepreneurs, professionals, and individuals seeking personal and professional growth, targeting both local and diaspora Nigerians.
