All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Kadiri Hamzat

The Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat Global Movement (KOH) has presented campaign materials in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Kadiri Hamzat, pledging to mobilise voters at home and in the diaspora for the party’s candidates in the 2027 elections.

Speaking at the Hamzat Campaign Office in Lagos, the movement’s Director-General, Tunde Ajisola, said its support was informed by Hamzat’s loyalty to the party, technical expertise and administrative experience.

Ajisola, who is also the Publicity Secretary of the APC’s United Kingdom chapter, said the movement comprised like-minded supporters across the world committed to securing victory for President Bola Tinubu, Hamzat and other APC candidates.

He said the group would sustain daily sensitisation and mobilisation in support of its vision of an “unlimited Lagos.”

Describing Lagos as a megacity of global relevance, Ajisola said rapid urbanisation, population growth, transportation bottlenecks, housing deficits and environmental challenges required experienced leadership.

“At such a time, Lagos does not just need a politician. It needs a technocrat, someone who understands systems, data, planning and execution at scale. It needs a leader who combines intellectual depth with administrative experience, innovation with continuity, and vision with practical delivery. This is where Dr. Kadiri Hamzat stands out,” he said.

Ajisola said the movement was established to promote the vision of an unlimited Lagos for all residents, adding that the presentation demonstrated solidarity with Hamzat.

“I am in Lagos to support my brother and governorship candidate of our great party, Hamzat. It is our own little way of showing solidarity with somebody who has been a loyal and committed member of our party,” he said.

He described Hamzat’s background as evidence of sustained investment in knowledge, discipline and exposure, which had prepared him for the demands of governing the state.

“Hamzat was not shaped by chance. His journey reflects a deliberate cultivation of knowledge, discipline and exposure. He is equipped with what is needed to govern Lagos, and our dream of an unlimited Lagos reflects his desire to continue the good works started in 1999 when our President, Bola Tinubu, was governor of Lagos State,” Ajisola said.

Urging residents to vote for APC candidates, he maintained that the party offered a secure future anchored on renewed hope and unlimited possibilities for Nigeria and Lagos State.

Other members of the movement, including its Secretary, Martins Olanegan; Country Director, Abdullahi Yusuf; Operations Director, Abiodun Adeyeri; and Emmanuel Fagbemi, also pledged to mobilise support for Hamzat and his running mate, Damilola Sonayon-James, ahead of the elections.
