The governorship Candidate of the Action Alliance in the Kogi State Off cycle election, Olayinka Braimoh has alleged that he was arrested and detained on Saturday, disenfranchising him from voting in the election.

Braimoh in a video making round said nothing incrementing was found on him.

“I was disenfranchised, illegally locked up in Kabba Area police Command for over 8 hours and my security details denied bail”.

There was serious concerns about his whereabouts on the election day when Braimoh could not be located by 12pm at his voting centre in Asuta ward, Kabba.
Traces by some newsmen and some of his supporters to his residence also proved abortive.
Although there was still sketchy information over his detention as at the time of filing in this report, it was learnt that the brilliant governorship candidate was released after the election.
