Nigerian Afrobeats singer Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has revealed that his recent break from music followed the death of his mother earlier this year.
The singer clarified that the break was not because he was working on a new album.
Kizz Daniel, also known as Vado D’Great, disclosed this on Friday while responding to a fan on X.
The fan, @VicroyDominion1, had written, “I guess album really made you busy you had to pause for a while.”
Kizz Daniel responded, “I paused for my Mom not an album … Lost her this year , but I gotta keep moving for the rest of the family … sorry I came late this year.”
