The stage is set for the final homeward journey of Efemena Okedi who died three months after her lover, Ras Kimono passed away on Sunday, September 23.
In view of her burial, Ras Kimono’s daughter, Oge posted a message on social media thus:

“This is to officially inform the general public, friends and well wishers on the burial arrangements of our dearly beloved Efemena Julie Okedi Kimono, who passed on September 23. Service of songs will hold at her residence at Number 2, Abiodun Baro Street, Magodo, Phase 1, while she will be laid to rest on October 26 at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.”
