Nigerian–American singer, Samson Adeniran Bademosi aka Samsix, has released a single, Kilode, which is a follow up to his hit track, Fight for You.
According to Samsix, “the song reflects the world we live in today where corruption, hunger, nepotism, suffering, disorderliness and so on are the order of the day. Kilode is expected to surpass my other singles because my trademark sound, rhythmic and lyrical styles are new and different. My approach to the Afro pop genre of music is not regular.”
Speaking further, Samix, who draws inspiration from the likes of Fela Kuti and Burna Boy, disclosed that Kilode is currently enjoying massive airplay in the country.
“The track is easily relatable to every individual, as it melodically places the listener in a situation that he or she is already familiar with. Indeed, Kilode is laced with a melody that will enable the listener to sing along and appreciate the lyrics of the song.”
