Kia Seltos is Nigeria’s Compact SUV of the Year

Kia Motors Nigeria has once again reinforced its leadership position in Nigeria’s automotive industry as the Kia Seltos emerged Compact SUV of the Year at the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) Awards held recently at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

At the recent 2025 NAJA AWARDS L- R: DG, NADDC, Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin; MD/CEO, Dana Motors, Jacky Hathiramani; and Director of Sales, Jet Motor Company, Sanjay Rupani .

The award recognises the Kia Seltos for its elegant design, advanced technology, superior performance and strong value proposition, qualities that have made it one of the most sought-after compact SUVs in the Nigerian market.

Speaking at the event, the CEO of KIA Motors Nigeria, Mr. Jacky Hathiramani, acknowledged the support and contributions of NAJA and congratulated all the winners.

Commenting further he said, “We are proud to see the Kia Seltos recognised as the Compact SUV of the Year. Beyond this award, Kia remains firmly committed to Nigeria’s automotive growth, and this award reinforces our belief that innovation and sustainability must go hand in hand.

A statement issued by Kia Nigeria after the ceremony indicated that, over the years, the electric vehicle manufacturer has remained at the forefront of producing stylish, sophisticated and performance-driven SUVs, consistently setting benchmarks in both design and innovation.

The Seltos award further underscores the brand’s commitment to delivering vehicles that meet the evolving needs of Nigerian consumers, the company said
