On Saturday April 11, over 200 participants gathered at the Ibadan Business School for the 2026 edition of The Christian Entrepreneur Creative Summit.
The summit, with a theme ‘The Role of Kingdom Influence in the Marketplace’, was hosted by the Kemi Irinoye Foundation to equip and strengthen faith-driven entrepreneurs in the marketplace.
The event brought together business leaders, creatives, and aspiring entrepreneurs for a day of insightful conversations, spiritual guidance, and practical learning.
Convener and entrepreneur, Oluwakemi Irinoye, led key sessions at the summit, emphasising the importance of aligning business practices with Christian values. She charged attendees to become intentional about influencing their industries with integrity, excellence, and purpose.
Speaking at the event, TitOluwa Olumideko, an evangelist and teacher, encouraged participants to embrace their identity as light in the marketplace, noting that faith should not be separated from enterprise. Also present was Damilare Oluwasegun, a media entrepreneur and speaker, who shared practical insights on leveraging media and storytelling as tools for business growth and influence. The summit featured interactive sessions, networking opportunities, and discussions centered on faith, leadership, creativity, and business sustainability.
The event concluded with a renewed call for participants to take bold steps in their businesses while embodying kingdom values, in line with the anchor scripture from Matthew 5:16, which encourages believers to let their light shine before others. Attendees described the experience as both spiritually enriching and professionally empowering.
